New October Animes

Neway, I'm gonna update the blog with some new anime releases in October.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00



Rejoice for gundam lovers, cuz gundam 00 is here. From what I've seen, the artline has improved a lot, and characters are designed by Yun Kouga, mangaka of Loveless ( haha...do expect some gayness to come...*smirks*). No sign of pink hair girls anywhere (I thought Sunrise has a fetish for pink haired girls. Lacus, Euphie...) and the 4 main gundams are pretty cool, eventhough Gundam Exia reminds me of Strike. As usual, only the main guy character has Jap name (Setsuna F. Seie) and the rest, with weird names (Lockon Stratos, Tierie, Allelujah, and ...). From the first few dialogue, I can recognize Setsuna's seiyuu right away, Mamoru Miyano !! OMG, he's in Raito mode !! Kyaa~ Then, there's Lockon, who is voiced by Shinichiro Miki (Takumi;Initial D, ...) And the OP, Daybreak's Bell, by L'arc~en~ciel is kinda catchy. I must say that my fav chara are Setsuna, Tierie, and Lockon. Oh, yeah...I've almost forgot that Haro has gotten bigger, and its voice isn't as cute as it is in gundam seed.

Clannad



One of the animes I've been waiting for since Kanon. It's by Studio Key, who did AIR and Kanon. Major resemblances can be seen in the girls chara. Its OST is fantastic as usual, and I do expect a touching storyline like what AIR and Kanon have.

Rental Magica



There's a mixture of Western and Eastern magic here. The main chara, Iba Itsuki, reminds me deeply of Allen Walker, from D.gray-man. Maybe it's because of the eye-patch. There's some Harry Potter-broomstick and Onmyouji scenes as well. From the title, the main concept of the anime is something like "Rent-a-magic". The art is not too bad. Only that the first episode doesnt have an OP, so I'll just edit the screencaps later.

Rating: 6/10

Shakugan no Shana II

Nothing much can be said cuz I haven't watch this yet due to the fact that I haven't watch the first season. Well, I'm planning to watch it during the coming semester break. I'll update my reviews then.. However, Shakugan no Shana can be said to be very well-anticipated since it has a second season after 2 years, a movie and an OVA.



Basically, I'll be only focusing on these 4 animes for now. Any recommendations will be welcomed.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei





Oh, yeah..eventhough Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei has been aired for quite a while, I've only started watching it. The airing has already finished, 12 eps, but the fansubs aren't. I'm waiting for a.f.k. fansubs since their trans is the best. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei got a really interesting storyline and artline. The main chara, Nozomu Itoshiki sensei, must be Watanuki's [xxxHolic] long lost twin brother (they look so alike). Its OP is weirdddd, and there's this *beep* face all over the sensored part.

Zombie-Loan



I've finally finished then, but WTH ?!?! only 11 episodes ?!?! There's gotta be a second season !! Shito-san !!

Claymore

Also ended. NoooOOOO~~~ why didn't they kill PRISCILLAAA ?!?!?! Raki is such a brat !! Bitch like Priscilla should die !!! Waaaa... T.T for Teressa !!

Rebuild of Evangelion



There's a movie, consist of 3 parts, on Evangelion, airing in Japan. The 1st movie theme song, Beautiful World, by Utada Hikaru is suggeeee~ I'm waiting for the subs to come out so that I can write a full review on it...

Gundam Seed Character Theater Ep 3 & 4





The second seed supernova fandisc is finally out. Yay for the Kira cover !
OMG !! GS/ GSD fans NEED to see this. It's hilariously funny !! I'm rolling on the floor, my stomach ties a knot, and laughin' my ass off, when I'm watching this !!

Then, in ep4, Shinn becomes an okama (pondan, for short). He's trying to impersonate Lacus. Kira is deepy shocked !! And the kissing scene btwn Kira x Lacus has make Lunamaria nosebleeds heavily... Kakakakaka~~~

Random pics of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai







Oh, yeah, there's been a case where the airing of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni kai ep12 and School Days final ep were delayed in Japan because there's an accident where a 16 years old teenage girls hacked her dad to death using an ax (...must be a die-hard Rena fan), then, after a week, a guy tries to chop his dad, or something like that. I was so afraid that they'll stop the airing of Higurashi because I pratically follow the series every week. Luckily, the airing continues as usual after 2 weeks. Looks like teenage murderers cant stop us from watching Higurashi !! Haauuu~ (Hanyuu mode) I cant really understand why they stop School Days as well, but after reading the reviews for the final ep, I finally know why... (School days started like a normal love story, but somehow, in the last ep, turns into a love triangle, and the girl ax-ed the guy who goes for other girl, pratically opens up the stomach of a girl, and hugged the dead guy's head in the end... ewww.... a very Higurashi-potential anime)
