Fall 2010 October Anime Review
Arghhhhh!!!!!! ほんとうにごめん！！
I know it's been ages since I last updated my blog >.< しょうがないだから、いそがしだもん。。。 Neway, since I didn't post on the Fall 2010 Oct Anime Preview, I'll just post the review. Since some of the series already ended... You can get the Preview Guide from Random Curiosity & here.
STAR DRIVER 輝きのタクト
On a cross-shaped island in the South, a mysterious and gigantic humanoid robot known as the "Cybody" is discovered sealed in the underground ruins for untold ages. A group known as the "Order of the Glittering Star Cross" attempts to remove the seal by abducting a girl named Wako Agemaki, who they dubbed the "shrine maiden" and is the key to activating the robot. A boy named Takuto Tsunashi arrives with his own Cybody named Tauburn to rescue Wako. Thus begins a struggle to unlock the secrets of the advanced technology and prevent disaster. [ANN]
Muahahaha... My fav anime of the season. 3 bishies voiced by my fav seiyuu.
Mecha themed anime... Cybodies are cool, but why they looked like they have hips?!

What I like bout this series:
1. BL potential between Sugata x Takuto...
Really, this is from one the scenes.... *nosebleeds*
2. Harem? Guys should love this. See all the pretty girls goin' afer Takuto & Sugata...
Not to mention, a C.C. lookalike...
3. The-kiss-through-the-glass-thingie...I would be happy if it happened like this instead *blush*
4. OSTs: Quite good; I would say ED is better than OP.
5. Artline: Nice!!! Everyone looks skinny & tall.
6. Others: Takuto's punchlines: IT'S A PINCHHHH!!! IT'S A SAFEEE!!! IT'S A SUNDAEEE!!!
No wonder all the Glittering Star's female members are goin' after you...
7. Takuto's awesome appearance in Zero Time (Pretty Boy of the Galaxy)

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo 心霊探偵 八雲
In order to help a friend possessed by a spirit, Ozawa Haruka knocks on the door of her university's movie research association. There she meets Saitou Yakumo, a rude, unkempt young man with a red left eye, who is said to have spiritual powers. At first Haruka is skeptical, but she comes to believe him when he conveys messages from her older sister, who died when she was a child. Together, they work to shed light on the terrifying events happening at their university. But this is only the prologue of what's to come...[ANN]

Ono Daisuke as Saitou Yakumo [Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji]
Story: I'm really into supernatural & mystery kind of genres, so this anime suits me well.
Artline: The anime artline kinda fail. The manga's is way better...
OSTs: All is good! OP is sung by OnoD & ED is great...
Too bad, the anime has only a total of 13 eps. Well, if you need more Yakumo, I reckon you to check out the manga which has really beautiful art!!

Bakuman. バクマン
Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, content to live out a relatively normal life as any other does, is persuaded by his classmate, Akito Takagi, to become an aspiring mangaka when the latter realizes his natural talent as an artist. However, Moritaka is reluctant to pursue his dream as his uncle, once a mangaka with his own serializations, died from overwork trying to regain his lost status. With Akito's help, Takagi gets another classmate and his school crush, Azuki Miho, who is an aspiring voice actress, to voice in the anime adaptation of their future manga once it is completed. However, Mashiro also proposes to Azuki, who surprisingly accepts only on the condition she will marry him when both of them have achieved their dreams. With a goal set before him, Mashiro begins a long and struggling path to become a famous mangaka. [ANN]
For me who likes to draw, this anime is a must-see!!
Plus, I've been following its manga loyally till now..
To have this manga gets animated really makes me happy ^^

Atsushi Abe as Moritaka Mashiro [Touma from To Aru Majutsu no Index]
Satoshi Hino as Akito Takagi [Yuuji from Shana, Saito from Zero no Tsukaima, Senshiro from Uraboku]
Story: Interesting. But there are some parts in the manga where anime fail to deliver properly.
OSTs: Dunno. Lame OP. Really doesn't suits Bakuman at all. ED is better.
Really love the scenes where Takagi is working with Mashiro into creating the best manga. They are so in sync with each other totally increasing the BL potential ; I love to see their faces when they got serialized. Also love the comedy between Takagi and his girlfriend XD
This is won't happen at all since Mashiro already has Azuki conquering his mind
An interesing point is that Bakuman is created by Death Note's manga, Obata Takeshi.
Bakuman totally has a different feel when compared to Death Note.
Those into Drama, Romance & Comedy should give this a try. Though, I'll say manga is better..

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai 俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない

Really, I can't stand the bitchy Kirino. I pitied his brother.
It feels like she's indirectly wanting her brother to get involved in imouto eroge.
There are some tsunderes which I'm okay with, such as Shana, but Kirino, really.. I have no idea why you're so annoying.
Kuroneko, on the other hand is my fav. A loli otaku. Just like me. Not to mention, her fav anime, Maschera, is kinda like Code Geass...
Maybe I would like Kirino, too, if she started wearing lolita..
Story: Interesting. But sorry, Kirino's fav Stardust Witch Meruru is really not my type at all. Maybe because I'm not into imouto eroge... >.<> cuz I'm into BL LOL.
U should totally watch this if u considered yourself as an otaku and like: Eroge, Imouto & Lolita.

Togainu no Chi 咎狗の血
Several years after the end of a war, the city of Toshima has fallen into decay and been taken over by the crime syndicate Viscio. There, the head of the syndicate, Il Rey, has convened the battle game "Igura." Meanwhile, Akira, falsely accused of a crime, has made a deal to earn his pardon: go to Toshima, defeat Il Rey, and destroy the syndicate.[ANN]
This supposed to be a BL bloody series. But it has no whatsoever effects on me. Aizzz... fail series. Maybe because I've dropped it halfway...

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai 神のみぞ知るセカイ
Keima Katsuragi is an avid galge gamer known at his school as "Otamega" (a derogatory term combining the words Otaku and Megane) and on the internet a "The Capturing God." One day he receives an e-mail offering him a contract to "capture" girls. He accepts thinking it's a challenge and a demon from Hell named Elsee appears. She asks for his help in capturing runaway spirits that are hiding in "real" girls. He refuses stating he only like the girls from the game and she tells him that if he refuses then both of their heads will be cut off.[ANN]
Another series which I have lost interest in watching... Sappy love stories focusing on different girls. The comedy is nice though..
Keima looks good but he's only into 2D girls...
Tegami Bachi REVERSE テガミバチ REVERSE
Lag's quest to recover Gauche's heart continues, after finding him and being attacked in return he wakes up at Bee hive just to find that he has lost Gauche again. He must become stronger and a better Letter bee in order to be ready to take Gauche back next time he finds him. Along with his loyal dingo and friend Niche he is decided to make that dream come true and bring happiness back to Sylvette and Aria. [ANN]
Second season of Tegami Bachi, my fav.
We get to see Niche's older sister bold appearance, who is totally naked
and also more scenes of Gauche Noir...
OSTs: Fanstatic. OP & ED are really good!! You might not believe this but the ED is sung by a guy. A GUY!!!! And all this while I thought it was sung by a girl...

Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge 荒川アンダー ザ ブリッジ×ブリッジ
In the dry riverbed of Arakawa River, undefeated elite Ichinomiya Kou (aka Rick) met the lovely homeless girl Nino, a self-declared Venusian. Their awkward love stirs up trouble among the other strange inhabitants of the riverbed.[ANN]
Second season of Arakawa Under The Bridge.
Recommended if you like humour & romance.
Rating: 6/10
To Aru Majutsu no Index II とある魔術の禁書目録II
Index is still a fugitive and many powerful Magical organizations and individuals want to take her to use the books in her memory eliminating her in the process. War between those organizations is also starting to emerge. Index can only rely on her friend Touma who has always protected her along with Misaka and other friends from the Academy.[ANN]
Continuation of To Aru Majutsu no Index I
Nice artline & OSTs as usual.
Recommended if you're into JC Staff works such as Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Ookami-san & Railgun.

Hakuouki Hekketsuroku 薄桜鬼 碧血録
Based on Idea Factory's romance adventure game: Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an Oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debates on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. The Shinsengumi then takes Chizuru along on their search after the missing doctor, from adventures to adventures.[ANN]
Second season of Hakuouki.
Basically, it's bout a bunch of bishies protecting a girl. Reverse harem desu yo~
The first season... but I prefer their second season uniform, which was more westernized...
